10/19/2022 - Arizona Easton Fall Classic - Under Class (2025-2026) Aaron is an athletic OF/RHP prospect out of Staten Island, NY who showed well during the Arizona Easton Fall Classic. In the field, Aaron shows active footwork with a quick first step. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front of his body. His exchange is clean and he gains ground well on his throws, keeping them accurate with carry through his target. At the plate, this LHH sets up in a tall stance with his hands held high. He gets his hands activated in his load and hits against a strong front side. He generates fast bat speed through the zone and drives the ball from gap to gap. On the mound, Aaron gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a clean arm and extends through his release, keeping his eyes on target. Aaron operates with a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 80mph. Breaking ball shows good movement. Palm ball works well off of his fastball. Overall, Aaron is a talented prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

05/01/2022 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Trenton, NJ Aaron continues to show as a prospect on the diamond with his baseball abilities. He did show at SS for the first time at the event. In the OF, defensive abilities are well above average. He takes proper routes/angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind balls and plays through with momentum to his target. He utilizes his foot quickness (7.31 60 time) in covering a lot of ground. Throws are accurate with on line carry (89 mph velocity) to his target. At SS, he displays fluid/smooth actions. Feet are active as he attacks balls and plays through with his body. Glove action is clean and presents well out front. At the plate, he continues to shine through an athletic setup. Hands are quick (84 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He makes consistent contact through a line drive approach with power showing best to the pull side. Lower half works well through the swing with an aggressive hip turn.

03/27/2022 - All-In Membership - Bronx, NY Aaron is an athletic OF/RHP who has a promising future on the diamond. In the OF, defensive abilities are well above average as he displays smooth/fluid actions. Feet are active as he works to get behind balls and plays through with momentum to his target. He moves well laterally with range improving as he increases foot quickness. Throws are accurate with online carry (86 mph velocity) to his target. At the plate, he continues to shine through an athletic setup. Hands are quick (81 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball well, utilizing the middle of the field well through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. On the mound, he shows a three-pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 81 mph. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with sinking action. Control is solid as he throws strikes with all his pitches. He can improve as a pitcher by long tossing to build up his arm strength. With 3 1/2 years to further develop, Aaron has potential and will get looks from collegiate coaches as he continues to progress his game.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
