03/27/2022 - All-In Membership - Bronx , NY Aaron is an athletic OF/RHP who has a promising future on the diamond. In the OF, defensive abilities are well above average as he displays smooth/fluid actions. Feet are active as he works to get behind balls and plays through with momentum to his target. He moves well laterally with range improving as he increases foot quickness. Throws are accurate with online carry (86 mph velocity) to his target. At the plate, he continues to shine through an athletic setup. Hands are quick (81 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball well, utilizing the middle of the field well through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. On the mound, he shows a three-pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 81 mph. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with sinking action. Control is solid as he throws strikes with all his pitches. He can improve as a pitcher by long tossing to build up his arm strength. With 3 1/2 years to further develop, Aaron has potential and will get looks from collegiate coaches as he continues to progress his game.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
