01/19/2024 - 2024 Baseball Factory Rookie Pre-Season All-America Tournament Aaron is a 2027 SS/RHP prospect out of Pittsburgh, PA that recently impressed with his skills at the Rookie Pre-Season All-American Tournament. At short, he does a great job of getting in a ready position on the balls of his feet, ready to move to all angles. He does a nice job of squaring the ball up and presenting his hands out in front on ground balls. He has a quick exchange, and his arm really shows as a plus. He gets rid of the ball quickly and is able to make accurate throws from multiple arm slots. At the plate, he starts in a squared, relaxed stance and has loose, comfortable hands. He has a small load and a short stride. He is under control in the box with on-time rhythm and his balance centered through his lower half. He has a smooth swing and an on-plane swing and makes hard consistent contact from gap-to-gap. He recorded an impressive 81 MPH exit velo. In game action, he reached base in 3 of 6 plate appearances with 3 walks, displaying an ability to take what he's given at the plate. On the mound, he has a sure setup and throws from a high 3/4 angle. He is able to get a relaxed knee lift and has a clean arm action with a full finish. He keeps his stride in-line to his target and has a controlled landing while letting his back leg finish through his delivery. His arm is super loose, and he is projectable on the mound. He struck out 2 in 3 innings of game action and allowed only one hit. Overall, Aaron is an exciting prospect that we are looking forward to seeing more of in the future!
