12/20/2023 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City - Session 1 Aaron continues to impress with improvements in his baseball abilities at the Pirate City Christmas tournament. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date, now a 7.03 runner. At SS, he displays smooth / fluid actions. He shows active footwork as he attacks ball, working to square ball up. Glove action is clean but needs to present more out front. He utilizes his foot quickness in covering a lot of ground. Throws are accurate but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he continues to shine through an athletic setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Lower half works well through the swing with an aggressive hip turn. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a great personality, is very coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be.

08/14/2023 - National Showcase - York, PA Aaron is a talented SS/OF in the 2025 class. On the dirt, he has fluid actions and active feet. Gains ground to the baseball with controlled speed (7.13 runner) and works around the baseball. Demonstrates the ability to field in an athletic position and work through the baseball with clean exchanges. Has glove feel to his left and right and the ball sticks to his pocket. Arm plays at 77 and shows a loose ¾ release. In the OF, he shows he same agility and a positive 1st step. Catches the baseball at the highest point with strong pocket awareness. Has the arm strength and working to throw the top of the baseball will improve accuracy back to the dirt. At the plate, he has a controlled swing with repeatable actions. Scouts love his direct path and middle of the field approach. Working to stay in his legs will increase his power to all fields. Overall, Aaron is a solid follow in the 2025 class.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
