09/19/2021 - All-In Membership - San Bernardino, CA Aaron is a SS prospect who will graduate in 2023. An athletic build with strength present and room to add throughout. At SS, he showed active/efficient feet and good body control at the baseball. He works to center the baseball and makes routine plays. Fields from a square fielding position, with soft hands, and has a clean exchange. A short/quick arm action, with momentum towards target, and ability to throw from multiple arm slots. Made accurate/on-line throws and an arm velocity up to 76mph across the diamond. 2 hand catch on his DP pivot. A right-handed hitter, he hits from an even and athletic stance. He activates his hands, with a short/direct barrel path, and ability to keep his hands inside the baseball. Good extension out front as he sprayed balls to all fields with a bat exit velocity up to 78mph during BP. With 2 years of continued growth and development, we see him having a bright future on the baseball field.

09/12/2020 - Official College Recruiting Membership - San Bernardino, CA Aaron is an athletic SS/RHP who has a promising future on the diamond. At SS, defensive abilities are solid as he displays smooth/fluid actions. Feet are active as he attacks and plays through balls with his body. Glove action soft/sure as he presents well out front. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. At the plate, he continues to shine through an athletic setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball well utilizing all fields, flashing gap-to-gap pop. On the mound, fastball showed s range of 70-73 mph with cutting action. Breaking ball displays 10/4 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with arm side run. Control is solid as he throws strikes with all his pitches. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. With 3 years to further develop, Aaron has a lot of potential with time and room to progress his game.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
