01/15/2021 - 2021 Baseball Factory Rookie Pre-Season All-America Tournament Aaron is an athletic 2024 SS who continues to develop as a stand out player for the future. At Short, he showed off active feet, agile range and accurate arm. He bumped up his raw velo 7mph to 80mph. These tools will continue to develop and have him ready to compete at the next level. Not only did he impress in the IF, but he also showed his barrel off with a 74 mph exit velocity. This is 8mph up from the last time we saw him. We see him developing to make an impact in any line up. Overall, Aaron is solid in the IF with some tools that will continue to develop. We are excited to see where this game takes him in the future.

12/01/2019 - National Tryout Plus - Pensacola, FL Aaron is a SS/OF prospect who continues to showcase his skills on the field. At SS, Aaron fields the ball out in front of his body and works to keep his throws accurate to his target. Getting into a lower fielding position can help Aaron improve as a SS. In the OF, Aaron shows active footwork and covers ground well. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front of his body. He gains momentum well on his throws and keeps them consistent to his target. Aaron can improve as an OF by long tossing to build up his arm strength. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a short stride. He gets into his load well and works to barrel up the baseball, producing solid line drives. Working a smoother rhythm into his load can help Aaron improve as a hitter. Overall, Aaron is a solid prospect who has the time and potential to further develop his skills on the field.

07/16/2019 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 1 (Ages 12-14) Aaron is an athletic SS who has a promising future on the diamond. At SS, defensive abilities are solid as he displays clean / smooth actions. Feet are active as he displays proper footwork as he works to square ground balls up but needs to play through more with his body. Glove action is soft / sure and presents well out front. In the OF, he takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind but needs to play through more with momentum to his target. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. Throws are accurate across the diamond but he will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he shows a squared setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a positive attitude, works hard, and is very coachable. With 5 years to further develop, Aaron has a lot of potential with time and room to progress his game.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
