09/19/2020 - Fall Pro Training Experience - NJ (HS) Aaron continues to show as a prospect on the diamond. In the OF, he takes proper routes / angles in tracking balls down. He works to get behind balls and plays through with momentum to his target. Range is a plus as he moves well laterally and covers ground. Throws are accurate but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he shows a squared setup. Hands are quick (82 mph exit velocity) and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields with gap-to-gap pop.

07/27/2020 - Official College Recruiting Membership - York, PA Aaron is an athletic OF who has a promising future on the diamond. In the OF not many balls get down that are hit his way (6.80 60 time). Transfer exchange is smooth as he zips throws on a line through his target. He has the versatility to play all 3 OF spots effectively. At the plate, he continues to shine. He stands in with a solid/strong base and has fluid rhythm to load. Barrel delivery is short/quick with aggression (89 mph exit velocity) as he connects with power driving to all parts of the field. With 2 years to further to develop, Aaron has a tremendous upside and will get looks from the collegiate coaches.

04/28/2019 - College PREP - Plymouth Meeting (Philadelphia), PA Aaron is a lean, athletic OF who will graduate in 2022. In the OF, he utilizes his quick feet well in his lateral movement as he displays range. He works to get behind balls but needs to play through balls more with momentum to his target. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. Throws display accuracy but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate he shows a squared setup. Hands are loose and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. With 3 years to further develop, Aaron has abilities with time and room to progress his game.

02/10/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Palmyra (Harrisburg), PA Aaron is a long, athletic, OF with good skills. Defensively, Aaron has active feet, soft hands, and he fields in a low position. He squares well to the ball, has a clean exchange, and throws with accuracy to his target. At the plate, Aaron has a square set-up, a proper load, and good balance. He attacks the ball aggressively, uses his lower body, and can spray to all fields. Aaron can get better with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
