02/17/2018 - So Cal Regional Accelerated Hitting Weekend (Ages 12-14) Aaron is a coachable OF prospect who worked hard on his skills during his time at the So Cal Regional Accelerated Hitting Weekend. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a square stance and takes a short stride. He shows solid rhythm getting into his load and maintains center balance. He takes a level swing with decent bat speed which leads to consistent contact and line drives. Aaron can improve as a hitter by using his lower half more. With five more years to develop, Aaron has the time and potential to further progress his skills at the plate.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
