12/27/2009 - Christmas Camp and Tournament #2 Aaron is a two-way player at SS plus on the mound with a small, strong build with a lot of athletic actions. Currently, he projects best as a SS for the next level. Foot speed is well above average as indicated by his 6.97 60 time and he utilizes his quick, athletic feet displaying range through an aggressive approach in the middle of the IF. Throws display life, carry and accuracy across the diamond. Offensively, hands are quick and direct to the baseball, generating bat speed as he shows a solid feel for the barrel as he was 5 for 11 at the event. On the mound, fastball shows a range of 74-79 mph with running action with off speed pitches needing further development to be quality pitches at the next level. Muendlein has a ton of potential and with the makings to be a solid collegiate player both offensively and defensively.
