05/21/2017 - Interactive Video Program - Redwood City (San Francisco/San Jose), CA Aaron is an athletic, 2-way player at C/3B. Defensively behind the plate, he displays smooth footwork and presents a low target. He receives pitches with a soft glove and comes up with a clean exchange to throw. Over at 3B, he takes quick lateral angels to the GB and works into a low fielding position. He has plus range to his glove side and gets rid of the ball with a quick exchange. With the stick, Aaron is a power hitter as he creates hard/solid contact with each pitch. He whips his barrel quickly through the zone, driving pitches from gap to gap and extends through contact. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
