08/04/2014 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 Aaron continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. On the mound, arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date, topping out at 84 mph. Fastball showed a range of 78-84 mph with sinking action. He maintains arm speed on his changeup, showing a feel for but needs to develop more movement on pitch. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with gradual break as he needs to work to stay on top of pitch more. Control is a plus as he throws strikes with all his pitches. Stock on the mound will improve as he builds more arm strength, and improves better off speed pitches. At 1B, foot work around the bag is a plus and is a quality receiver. Hands are soft / clean as he consistently showed the ability to pick balls out of the dirt. Defensive grade will continue to improve as he increases foot quickness and range. At the plate he shows a balanced / athletic setup. Hands are loose and work through a level swing path. He makes consistent contact, mainly to the pull side. Hitting grade will continue to improve as he works to keep hands inside the ball to utilize all fields. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and plays the game hard.
