06/09/2023 - 2023 Baseball Factory All-State Tournament Aaron continues to show as a top prospect with improvements in his baseball abilities. At the plate, hitting abilities are excellent with near pro level power potential through an athletic setup. Hands are quick (96 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields, and has strength in his swing to all fields. Lower half works well through the swing with an aggressive hip turn. At the event, he was 3 for 6 with a 2B and 3B. At SS, defensive abilities are solid as he displays smooth / athletic actions. Feet are active as he works around balls and plays through with his body. Glove action is clean and presents well out front. He utilizes his foot quickness in covering a lot of ground in the MIF. Throws are accurate with carry (87 mph velocity) to his target. On the mound, arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date at 80 mph. Fastball shows a range of 77-80 mph. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with gradual break. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program.

12/20/2021 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City - Session 1 Aaron is a 2025 SS/RHP prospect who showcased his skills at Pirate City Tournament. At SS, he starts in an athletic position, with smooth actions, and gets good reads off of the bat. He gets into his fielding position on-time, with relaxed hands, and has a 2-hand transfer. Accurate throws from 3/4 arm slot and an arm velocity of 86mph. At the plate, he hits from an athletic and square stance with a low hand set. Showed good barrel control with good extension through the baseball. Hit balls to all fields with a bat exit velocity up to 91mph during BP. During the games, he proved to be a tough out and reached base 2 times with a double, and a single. On the mound, he has long levers and a projectible frame. He was aggressive in the strike zone and flashed some pitchability. In the game, he worked 5 innings and showed a FB that sat 75-77mph, a 10/4 shaped breaking ball, and a changeup with plus command that he threw with FB arm speed. He struck out 4 batters and only allowed 2 hits. Aaron is a solid 2-way prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field with continued development.

12/05/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Pensacola, FL Aaron is a class of 2025 SS/RHP prospect. He shows off lots of athleticism and raw ability. At the plate, he hits from a tall stance. He does a good job staying in his lower 1/2. Shows off fast bat speed. Gets his barrel on plane early and shows extension through the baseball. Exit velos were up to 82 MPH. In the field, he shows effective feet and works well through the baseball. Presents his glove out front and has a clean exchange. Does a good job staying low on the backhand ball. On the mound, he shows off good mechanics and a clean arm action. Delivers all pitches from a ¾ arm slot. Fastball was up to 78 MPH and had tailing action. Breaking Ball was 10-4 shaped. Changeup was thrown with fastball arm speed and had slight sinking action. Aaron is a good prospect that we expect to see again as he continues his development.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
