12/27/2019 - Baseball Factory Winter Classic (Ages 12-14) Aaron continues to show the makings of a special type player and promising future on the diamond. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. In the MIF, defensive abilities have improved as he displays smooth / athletic actions. Feet are active and plays through balls with his body. Glove action is soft sure and presents well out front. Range will increase as he continues to improve foot quickness. Throws are accurate but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, hitting / power potential has improved through a squared setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He works to stay inside the ball, utilizing all fields and has strength in his swing with gap-to-gap pop. At the event, he was 4 for 8. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be.

08/05/2019 - Baseball Factory Pro Select Training at Pirate City (Ages 12-14) Aaron is a coachable MIF prospect who worked hard on his skills during the Pro Select Training at Pirate City. In the field, Aaron shows active footwork and is agile moving to the ball. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front of his body. He makes a clean exchange and makes accurate throws to his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a square stance and takes a controlled stride. He is fluid getting into his load and hits against a strong front side. He takes a short swing with decent bat speed, leading to consistent line drives. With six more years to develop, Aaron has the time and potential to further progress his skills on the field.

03/17/2019 - Interactive Video Program - Ashburn (DC), VA Aaron is a young, 2nd baseman with a thin frame. Defensively, Aaron has active feet, he presents his glove well, and he fields in a low position. He has a soft glove, a clean exchange, and he follows his throws to his target; delivering the ball with accuracy. At the plate, Aaron has a square set-up, good balance, and a compact/level swing. He has good bat control, swings on plane, and he can work the ball to all fields. Overall skills can continue to improve with work on the following.

Defense
1. Long toss
2. Range
Offense
1. Lower body
2. Bat speed

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
