09/23/2020 - Arizona Sophomore Fall Classic Abraham is a coachable RHP/2B prospect who showcased his skills during the Arizona Fall Classic. On the mound, Abraham gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a loose arm and stays inline toward the plate. Abraham shows a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 75mph with arm side run. Breaking ball sits at 58mph with 11-5 break. Changeup sits at 67mph with arm side run as he throws with deceptive arm speed. Taking a smaller rock step can help Abraham be more controlled throughout his delivery. In the field, Abraham shows smooth footwork and works behind the ball well. He fields in a square position and has a clean exchange. He gets rid of the ball quickly and makes accurate throws to his target. Abraham can make more plays by working on his lateral range. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an open stance and takes a short stride. He works to barrel up the baseball and sprays to all fields. Getting his stride foot down sooner can help Abraham barrel up more baseballs. Overall, Abraham is a solid prospect who has the potential to further develop his skills on the field.
