06/18/2021 - Baseball Factory All-State Tournament (HS) Abram is an athletic OF/RHP prospect who showed well during the All-State Tournament. In the field, Abram shows efficient footwork and uses his plus speed to cover ground. He gets into a square position and fields the ball out in front of his body. His exchange is clean and he gains ground well on his throws, keeping them on-line to his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a square stance and takes a short stride. He is smooth to load and drives through well with his lower half. He works through a level swing with fast bat speed, leading to loud contact and strong line drives. On the mound, Abram gathers over the rubber and works with a quick arm. He stays inline toward the plate and finishes square to his target. Abram operates with a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 83mph. Cutter sits from 75-77mph with good movement. Changeup sits form 71-73mph with sinking action as he throws with deceptive arm speed. Overall, Abram is a talented prospect who has the potential to contribute at the next level.

10/06/2019 - National Tryout Plus - Spokane, WA Abram continues to show as a top prospect on the diamond with improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date, now a 7.08 runner. In the OF, defensive abilities are now well above average as he displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are aggressive as he takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind and plays through with momentum to his target. Range is a plus as he moves well laterally and covers a lot of ground. At the plate, power potential has improved, now showing well above average pop through an athletic setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields and shows a feel for the barrel with gap-to-gap pop. On the mound, arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date, topping out at 81 mph. Fastball shows good tailing action. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with arm side run. Off speed stuff show as quality pitches that will get outs. Control is solid as he throws strikes with all his pitches. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program.

01/18/2019 - 2019 Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Abram continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. In the OF, he displays fluid / athletic actions. Feet are aggressive as he takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind balls but needs to play through more with momentum to his target. Range is a plus as he moves well laterally and covers a lot of ground. At the plate, he continues to shine through a tall, open setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. At the event, he was 4 for 6 with a 2B and 3B. On the mound, arm action is loose / easy and works well to the plate. Fastball shows slight tailing action. Fastball showed a range of 62-74 mph. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with slight tail. Getting on a long toss program will help to increase arm strength which will aid in his development on the mound.

10/07/2018 - National Tryout Plus - Spokane, WA Abram is a talented RHP/OF prospect who has a tall, lean build. On the mound, Abram repeats his delivery and keeps the ball low in the zone. He has balanced, on-time mechanics throwing from a 3/4 arm slot. Abram has a clean arm action and extends through his release. He stays square to home plate with a controlled landing. Abram stays compact and rotates towards his target as he finishes. He locates 3 pitches with good movement. In the field, Abram plays with effective footwork and stays behind the baseball. He presents his glove and fields the ball in a square position. Abram has a quick release and throws from a low 3/4 arm slot. His throws have online strength and he is developing consistency. Offensively, Abram has a square setup with a centered balance. He has a load with a short stride as his lower half leads his swing. Abram has a direct swing path with quick hands. He gets good extension producing consistent contact. He has the ability to spray the ball to all fields. Overall, Abram is a well-rounded prospect who has an above average skill set.

11/09/2017 - Baseball Factory Select Training & Competition in Arizona (Ages 12-14) Abram continues to show a promising future on the diamond. At the plate is where he shows best through a squared setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He works to keep hands inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. In the OF, he displays smooth actions. Feet are aggressive as he takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He reads balls well off the bat and works to get behind balls but needs to play through with momentum to his target. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. On the mound, fastball showed a range of 58-64 mph. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and plays the game hard.

10/01/2017 - Interactive Video Program - Spokane, WA Abram is a very talented 2-way player as a RHP/OF. On the mound, this righty has sound mechanics with a 3-pitch arsenal. He delivers a (FB, SL, CH) from a high 3/4 arm slot with free arm action and finishes strong towards home plate. FB tops out at 69 mph while showing some run. Slider has 11/5 shape with tight spin. CH compliments his FB well as he works to keep it down in the zone. In the OF, he takes active routes/angles as he tracks down hard-hit fly balls. He comes up with a clean exchange and fires throws with loose arm action. With the stick, Abram has smooth rhythm to load. He whips his barrel on a direct path fast through the zone and drives pitches from gap to gap. Abram has a ton of upside and will only continue to improve but working on the following.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
