12/27/2019 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City - Session 2 (Ages 14-18) Adam is an athletic and talented 2-way prospect that was eager to learn. In the OF, Adam is on time with his prep step, he plays through the ball, and makes accurate throws. He has a strong arm but needs to continue to improve his first step quickness. At the plate, Adam starts in a squared stance and has rhythm in his load. He rotates his lower half, he attacks the inside part of the ball, and looks to drive the ball through the middle part of the field. Continuing to keep his front side close and keeping his head down at contact will improve his ability to drive the ball. On the bump, Adam gathers over the rubber, he separates on time, and has a clean arm action. He works fast and holds runners well. He pounds the strike zone with his fastball and has a late break on his curveball. Adam will continue to improve with experience and we hope to see his progress in the future.
