06/14/2014 - Omaha National World Series - Session 1 Adam is a 1B/LHP that will graduate in 2017. On the mound, he threw two-pitches from the high 3/4 arm slot with repeatable actions. He was mechanically sound, gathered over the rubber, and pounded the zone with free arm action. His fastball topped out at 76 MPH and he showed some feel for a CH at 69. Offensively, he was square in his stride and showed flashes of gap power. Implementing a load with his hands and loosening his overall actions will improve bat speed and contact frequency. Defensively, he made the routine plays with decent feet around the bag and was clean with his exchange on double plays. Being more aggressive to come get balls and working lower in his fielding position will give him more success in the field. Overall - Adam is a good kid that has some ability and with another three years to develop could make himself into a solid prospect.
