08/01/2012 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 1 Ferita continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and showed as an OF/RHP at the event. Currently, he projects best in the OF for the next level. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date, now an above average runner at 7.10. He utilizes his quick / athletic feet well in taking proper routes / angles to track down balls in the OF. Throws display life, carry, and on line carry into his target. At the plate, he shows an athletic setup with balance. Hands are quick, generating plus bat speed through a level swing path. Barrel accuracy is a plus with the baseball exploding off his bat when centered. Power number will continue to improve as he learns to use his lower half more. On the mound, fastball showed a range of 78-83 mph with arm side run. Breaking ball displays 12/6 shape with downward action. He maintains his arm speed on his changeup with arm side run. Mental makeup is a plus as he is a hard worker and is very coachable with a positive attitude.
