Official Scouting Report

07/10/2022 - Cape Cod Select Training & Competition (HS) Adam is a 2025 3B/RHP who worked hard on his skills during the Cape Cod Training and Competition. At 3B, showed athletic actions, with quick feet, and showed solid fundamentals. Works from right to left and fields from a square fielding position with hands out front. Showed a 2-hand exchange, with a clean arm stroke, and made accurate throws to first base with an arm velocity up to 67mph. A right-handed pitcher, he had a confident and sure demeanor on the mound. Starts with a small rocker step as he gathers over the rubber and keeps eyes on target. He takes the proper stride length as he works with good direction down the mound. Throws a FB that sat 62-65mph, a 10/4 shaped slider, and a CH with good depth that he throws with FB arm speed. CH was his best pitch during his bullpen. During the event he did a good job of holding runners and pitching to contact. A right-handed hitter begins with a tall and even stance with comfortable hands. Showed ability to make adjustments and hit ball where it is pitched. He hits into a firm front side with good extension through the baseball. He hit line drives to all fields with a bat exit velocity up to 77mph during BP. In live game action, he reached base 2 times with a double, and a single. With 3 years of continued growth and development, we foresee Adam having a bright future on the baseball field.

03/06/2022 - All-In Membership - Glendale (Phoenix), AZ Adam is a 3B/RHP prospect who will graduate in 2025. Medium frame stocky build with strength present and plenty of room to add throughout. At 3B, shows active feet, with ability to play through the baseball, and makes routine plays. Has a loose arm and throws from a 3/4 arm slot. Made consistent throws, with momentum to target, and an arm velocity up to 67mph across diamond. On the mound, he has a simple delivery with good feel for his breaking ball. Has a good attitude and willingness to be coached. He throws a FB that topped out at 62mph, a 9/3 shaped breaking ball, and a developing changeup. SL was best pitch during his bullpen. At the plate, he hits from a tall and square stance. Has an on-time stride and tracks pitches well. During his round of BP, he hit balls to all fields with a bat exit velocity up to 73mph. With 3 years of continued growth and development, we see this 2-way prospect having a bright future on the baseball field.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
