07/28/2021 - Baseball Factory Southwest Championships 17U Adam continues to show as a prospect on the diamond. At the plate, hitting abilities are excellent through a crouched setup. Hands are quick (81 mph exit velocity) and work through level swing path. He makes consistent hard contact and has strength in his swing with power showing best to the pull side. In the OF, defensive abilities are at a pro level as he takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind balls and plays through with momentum to his target. He moves well laterally and utilizes his quick feet in covering a lot of ground. Throws are accurate with carry to his target. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be.

05/16/2021 - All-In Membership - Orange (Los Angeles), CA Adam is an OF prospect who will graduate in 2022. Medium frame with athletic build. Ran a 6.99 60-yard dash. Active and efficient feet who gets good reads off bat that enable him to take proper angles to ball. Good first step who fields the ball out in front and works in-line to ball. An over-the-top release point, with a clean exchange, and accurate throws into the infield at 80mph. Hits from the left side with a tall and athletic stance. Loose/whippy swing with balance through contact. Good hip rotation with a flat barrel path and proper extension. Square contact to the pull side with a bat exit velocity of 81mph. With continued growth and development, we see Adam having a bright future on the baseball diamond.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
