08/03/2009 - College PREP - Trenton, NJ Adam is a two-way player at 3B and as a catcher with a solid frame that shows projection as he continues to physically mature. Currently, he projects best behind the plate. Receiving skills are near above average through a low solid set up that allows his hands to work softly around the baseball, presenting a solid view to umpire. Blocking skills are average and need further development to play at the next level. Pop times shows a range of 2.38 -2.48 with feet working well in line with target. Arm strength is near average and he must get on a strict long toss program to build more arm strength, lowering pop times. At 3B, foot speed is well below average and he must get on a speed / agility program to improve foot quickness for the next level. He plays hard in the INF displaying near above average abilities. He shows a decent exchange but needs to work on overall approach and fielding position. At the plate, Greenfield has slightly above average abilities with solid average power. He makes consistent contact and shows a feel for the barrel to the pull side with baseball jumping off his bat when centered. Stance is open and stays open causing him to fly open and spin off a lot of balls. Adam has abilities with a lot of room to improve.
