01/18/2019 - 2019 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Adam is a very athletic 2020 Outfielder. Defensively, he stays ready, takes an excellent 1st step, works behind the baseball and drives through the ball to deliver strong accurate throws. His excellent speed (6.6s 60 Yd. Dash) gives him plus range in both directions. Tracks down everything. At the plate sets up comfortably from the RH side and keeps his load and activation very simple. Has a nice squared stride and does a nice job of getting the ball in play and using his speed to make things happen offensively.

12/03/2017 - College PREP - Lynwood (Chicago), IL Adam is an athletic OF prospect who will graduate in 2020. In the field, Adam shows active footwork and gains ground when moving to the ball. He gets into a square position and fields the ball out in front of his body. He has a clean exchange and gains momentum well on his throws which allows them to be consistently on-line to his target. Adam can improve defensively by long tossing to build up his arm strength. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a tall stance and maintains center balance in the box. He produces decent bat speed through the zone and works to barrel up the baseball. Adam can improve as a hitter by taking a square stride to the pitcher. Overall, Adam is a solid prospect who has the potential to further develop his skills on the field.

09/25/2016 - College PREP - Indianapolis, IN Adam is a talented two-way player who is continuing to develop his game. In the outfield, Adam plays with quick, active footwork giving him above average range to cover good ground. He fields the ball athletically and receives with a soft glove that leads into a clean exchange. Adam has a short, quick arm action throwing from a high 3/4 slot. He plays with momentum towards his target for consistent throws online. Offensively, Adam has a tall, square stance with a square stride and uses his lower half throughout his swing. He keeps his bat level throughout his swing and sprayed the ball to all fields. As a RHP, Adam has balanced mechanics throwing from a high 3/4 arm slot. He does a nice job staying in line with home plate and commands his fastball. Adam also features a 10-4 breaking curveball and a developing change-up. Overall, Adam is showing strides on the baseball field and will continue to develop with hard work.

07/24/2015 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 Adam is an OF/RHP that strives to improve every day. In the OF, he creates good angles and comes through the ball with authority. He showed the ability to make adjustments during the game, getting good positioning on balls. As a RHP, Adam gathers himself over the rubber and fires with a repeatable, clean arm action. He sets a good tempo with a 3-pitch mix, showing the ability to keep the hitters in check. Offensively, he hits from a square stance with a bulldog mentality. He is a tough out and does a great job of putting the ball in play, placing the pressure on the defense. Working to stay short to the ball and improving his bat speed will only help Adam in the future. Adam is a respectful young man that works hard to improve his skills.

06/07/2015 - Interactive Video Program - River Forest (Chicago), IL Adam is a young (2020 grad) 2-way player as an OF/RHP. In the OF, he shows quick footwork and is aggressive to track down fly-balls hit into the gaps. He gathers well and has a quick/clean exchange to throw. With the bat, this RHH displays a balanced setup with rhythm in his hands. He connects, hitting line drives to all parts of the field. On the bump, Adam throws 3 different pitches (FB, CB, CH) from a high 3/4 arm slot. He works to a tall balance point and drives off in-line toward the dish. FB tops out at 66 mph while showing some run. Breaking ball has 11/5 shape with 'cutter' type spin. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
