12/27/2011 - Vero Beach Christmas Camp and Tournament Adam is a 2016 graduate who pitches and plays first base. In the field Adam throws from a high 3/4 arm slot and follows his throws well. He uses 2 hands when fielding and fields out in front of his body. He flashes athleticism in the field and has a good idea in the field, but he needs to work on taking better angles and better positioning. At the plate Adam sets up tall. He has a small load and a short stride. His balance is stable and he uses his lower half to gain power. His swing can sometimes be long and has a tendency to jam himself at times. During the games Adam had quality at bats and showed good discipline at the plate. He had some big hits in the games and showed the ability to have potential power. On the mound Adam throws a natural cutter with his fastball. His curveball is his best pitch and he throws a 10/4 hard breaking ball. He was able to throw strikes with both pitches. His delivery was smooth and consistent and finishes in an athletic position. With more development and consistency, he will become a nice player in the future.
