11/21/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Daytona Beach, FL Adam is a class of 2022 Catcher prospect. Behind the plate, he used good footwork and a short arm action to create pop times as low as 1.97. Clean and quick exchanges helped him get the ball out quickly. Raw arm velo was as high as 82 MPH. Showed good athleticism and flexibility when catching. Did a good job creating angles when blocking. Showed feel for the pocket and the ability to work the glove around the strike zone. At the plate, he showed great feel for the barrel and consistently made hard contact. Showed an advanced approach and the ability to drive the baseball to all parts of the field. Showed good hand speed and the ability to keep them inside the baseball. Stayed balanced and did a good job using his lower 1/2. Adam is a good prospect that we hope to see again in the next year as he continues to work towards playing in college.

09/03/2021 - Baseball Factory's All-Region Tournament (HS) Adam continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. Behind the plate, feet are aggressive and active as he works in line to his target, through a clean transfer / exchange as he gets rid of the baseball quickly. Pop times showed in the 2.09 range with accuracy / carry (83 mph velocity) on his throws. Times will continue to drop as he builds more arm strength. He shows a squared setup, tracks well, and sticks balls in the zone. He utilizes his body well through the blocking process, centering balls out front. At the plate, hitting / power potential has improved through a balanced setup. Hands are quick (84 mph exit velocity) and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach, flashing gap to gap pop.

02/28/2021 - All-In Membership - Daytona Beach, FL Adam is an athletic catcher who has a promising future on the diamond. Foot speed is well above average as indicated by his 7.12 60 time. Behind the dish, he presents a firm mitt but needs to present target earlier. He uses his body through the blocking process, centering balls out front. Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
