01/14/2022 - 2022 Baseball Factory Pre-Season Prospects Tournament (HS) Adam is a 2023 3B/RHP prospect who showcased his skills during the Baseball Factory Pre-Season Prospects Tournament. On the mound, he gathers over rubber, with a clean leg lift, and works with good direction down the mound. Worked with good tempo and showed a good mound presence. He attacks hitters with a FB that topped out at 78mph with good movement, and a 12/6 shaped breaking ball that he throws for strikes. In 3 innings of work, he punched out 5 hitters and threw over 50% of his pitches for strikes. In the field, he starts with a good prep step and works to center the baseball. Good 1st step reads enable him to create good fielding angles and has a clean transfer. Made throws to first base from multiple arm slots with an arm velocity up to 80mph. At the plate, this right-handed hitter hits from a crouched and even stance. Starts with simple movements, with good hand separation, and had a good bat angle at contact. Gets on-plane early as he hit balls into both gaps with a bat exit velocity up to 83mph. During the games, he reached base 7 times with 2 doubles, a single, and 4 base on balls. With another year of continued growth and development, we foresee this 2-way prospect making huge strides on the baseball field.

06/18/2021 - Baseball Factory All-State Tournament (HS) Adam is a class of 2023 RHP/3B prospect. At the plate, he hit from a wide and open stance. He showed the feel for a consistent short stride. He did a good job getting loaded with his hips and hands. Had consistent, smooth timing. He did a good job working counts in game and had very competitive at bats. He got a hit as well as reaching base multiple times in game action. On the mound, he did a good job commanding both sides of the plate. Kept hitters off balance with the ability to throw any pitch in any count. Also showed good baseball IQ and the ability to field his position. Adam is a good young player that has 2 more years to continue his development.

04/11/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Orange (Los Angeles), CA Adam is a 2023 RHP/3B. Medium frame athletic build with strength present and plenty of physical projection remaining. Primary right-handed pitcher who works exclusively from the stretch. Picks up target early and showed ability to repeat his delivery. FB was up to 77mph with some running action that he threw for strikes. Medium break on CB with 11/5 shape and medium break. Flashes a changeup with FB arm speed and good run to RHH. Secondary 3B starts with a good pre-pitch routine and efficient footwork. Tries to create some rhythm through the ball with a clean transfer. Some present arm strength that projects with accurate and online throws across diamond at 80mph. Right-handed hitter with an upright and even stance. Simple load with short stride and balanced stance into contact. Showed ability to hit to balls to both gaps during his BP round. Has some looseness to his hands who flashed some power potential with a bat exit velocity of 80mph. 3 years of continued growth and development will bode well for his opportunities to play at the next level.

02/12/2021 - Baseball Factory Opening Day Classic (HS - West) Adam is a 2023 RHP/3B. Medium build with room to fill out and strengthen as he continues to develop. On the mound, has a short arm action from a over the top to high ¾ arm slot. Very simple and repeatable motion. Throws exclusively from the stretch with a straight up and down leg lift and good direction down the hill. Fastball shows good sink and he mixes in a 9/3 curveball as well. In 3 innings of work had 5 K’s. Secondary 3B, fields out front and shows some softness with the glove. Still developing fluid actions on the move. At the plate, uses an upright and square stance. Flat barrel plane through the zone creates consistent line drive contact. Gap/gap to pull side approach. With 3 years to further develop, Adam has a ton of potential and will get looks from the collegiate coaches as he continues to progress his game.

10/24/2020 - Fall Pro Training Experience - So Cal (HS) Adam is a RHP/3B prospect who continues to make steady improvements across the board. On the mound, Adam is controlled gathering to his balance point and works with a clean arm. He stays inline toward the plate and finishes with his chest over his front knee. Adam shows a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 78mph. Breaking ball sits from 67-69mph with 11-5 break. In the field, Adam shows active footwork with a quick first step. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front of his body. His exchange is smooth and he gains ground well on his throws, keeping them accurate with carry through his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a soft stride. He is smooth to load and works through a level swing path, producing solid line drives. Overall, Adam is a solid prospect who has the potential to further develop his skills on the field.

10/04/2020 - Official College Recruiting Membership - San Bernardino, CA Adam continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and has a promising future on the diamond. On the mound, arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date at 76 mph. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with gradual break. Control is solid as he throws strikes with all his pitches. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. At 3B, he displays smooth / athletic actions. Feet are active as he works to square balls up. Glove action is clean and presents well out front. At the plate, he shows a squared, athletic setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently.

09/04/2020 - HS All-Region Tournament Adam continues to show improvements on the diamond. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. At 3B, he displays smooth / athletic actions. Feet are active as he works around balls and plays through with his body. Glove action is clean and presents well out front. At the plate, hitting / power potential is now solid through a squared setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields with gap-to-gap pop. On the mound, arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date at 75 mph. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with short break. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program.

09/08/2019 - Interactive Video Program - La Verne (Los Angeles), CA Adam showed a spike in radar velocity to 67 MPH, he ran his best 60 to date at 8.72 seconds, and showed a spike in hitting numbers at his last workout. On the mound, Adam has good balance over the rubber, a loose arm action, and he separates his hands on time. He has a smooth/easy delivery, good direction toward target, and he finishes completely. Behind the plate, Adam has firm/presentable hands, efficient footwork, and he arm is accurate with carry to 2nd base. Pop times also lowered to 2.3 seconds. At the plate, Adam has a tall/athletic set-up, good balance, and he swings in good rhythm. He is a strong hitter with fast bat speed, and he works the ball gap to gap.

10/14/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Pasadena (Los Angeles), CA Adam is a young, solid, 2-way player who worked out behind the plate and on the mound. Defensively, Adam sits in low and athletically, he presents his glove well, and looks the ball into his glove. He gains ground, has a clean exchange, and throws with a short arm action to 2nd base. Pop times were as low as 2.56 seconds. On the mound, Adam stands over the rubber well balanced, he separates on time, and lands with a proper length stride toward home plate. His FB has life and he is around the zone. Offensively, Adam has a tall/square set-up, good balance, and he can hit to all fields. He works the ball gap to gap, makes square contact, and he uses his lower body. Adam can further improve skills with work on the following.

01/12/2018 - Baseball Factory Spring Training in Arizona (Ages 12-14) Adam continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and has a promising future on the diamond. Behind the plate, pop times have improved as he threw his lowest time to date at 2.90 with accuracy on his throws. Feet are active working in line through a clean transfer / exchange. Times will continue to drop as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program and works to get rid of the baseball quicker. Glove action is soft as he sticks balls well in the zone. He uses his body well through the blocking process but needs to improve flexibility and work to get down sooner. At the plate, hitting / power potential have improved through an open / athletic setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields and shows a feel for the barrel, flashing gap-to-gap pop. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be.

09/10/2017 - Interactive Video Program - La Verne (Los Angeles), CA Adam is a C/RHP who will graduate in 2023. Defensively behind the plate, he shows a solid setup/stance with effective footwork. He has a clean exchange and makes accurate throws to his target. On the hill, this righty gathers over the rubber with a 3-pitch mix. He commands his pitches for strikes and stays directional towards home plate. With the stick, Adam displays smooth rhythm with a quiet head. He swings on a short path through the zone and consistently squares up pitches thrown in the zone. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
