09/28/2008 - College PREP - Detroit, MI Adam showed a lot of improvement in his baseball tools since the last time that we saw him. Defensive grades really improved, now showing at near above average. He is more suited for 3B at the next level due to foot speed. His feet are active and he does a nice job of coming to get and playing through the baseball with his feet. Glove action is soft, clean, and sure in making all the plays. At the plate, Roesenfield continued to show improved ability, with solid average skills and power. Set up and approach are clean and easy allowing his hands to work directly to the baseball. Swing path is level but does get long at times. Power numbers will continue to increase if he utilizes his lower half more through the swing. On the mound, off speed pitches show improvement with his breaking ball showing best. He does need to get on a strict long toss program to aid in developing more arm strength. Currently, Adam projects best in the infield and will catch the eyes of the college coaches with his abilities in the field and at the plate.
