07/10/2015 - 2015 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's National East Rhodes had an outstanding showing at the event in the OF with the makings of a special type player at the next level as he continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved, now a outstanding runner as indicated by his 6.73 60 time. At the plate he showed an athletic setup. Hands are quick, generating bat speed through a direct / level swing path. He works to stay inside the ball, utilizing all fields with HR pop to all fields. In the OF, he uses his quick / athletic feet well in taking proper routes / angles in tracking down balls as he covers a lot of ground, displaying range. Hands / feet work well together through the fielding process as he shows big play potential. This speedster will make things happen with his well-rounded skill-set.

01/16/2015 - Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Adante is an athletic OF who can swing it. Offensively, this RHH has a balanced setup with a solid base. Smooth rhythm allows him to get back into a strong loaded position. Swing is level with plus bat speed driving the ball on a line. In the OF, Adante works light on his feet tracking fly-balls to his right and left with speed (6.84). He has smooth actions, gathering well and gaining ground toward his target. Rhodes has a solid all-around skill-set that will play at a high level.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
