06/29/2016 - 2016 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's National South Adisyn continues to show a promising future on the diamond. At SS, he has plus lateral range for a big guy, working from the ground-up with smooth actions. Transfer is quick as he fires strong throws zipping across the diamond. At the plate - he has strong/centered balance with fluid rhythm to load. He takes an absolute hack - crushing the ball to all gaps. On the mound, this righty has a 3 pitch arsenal in which to keep hitters guessing. FB jumps out of his hand and shows some sinking action - 84 mph. Changeup is solid as he throws it with smooth FB arm speed - helping to create deception. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with late break. He works tall and drives downhill, repeating well. A projectable SS - Adisyn will play at a very high level and make an immediate impact.

02/21/2016 - National Tryout Plus - Xenia, OH Coffey continues to shine on the diamond. This athletic MIF is fun to watch. He has quick/fluid actions moving lightly on the balls of his feet. He works through the ball, has a smooth transfer and fires strong throws with zip across the diamond. Offensively, Adisyn fits the mold of a top of the line-up guy with his electric speed. Barrel delivery is quick as he squares the ball up with pop, driving it to all parts of the field (exit velocity = 89 mph). Coffey is a talented prospect who will make things happen at a very high level.

12/27/2014 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City - Session 2 Adisyn is a skilled 2-way guy who put his athleticism on display at Pirate City. At SS, he shows active footwork moving around the GB while maintaining good body control. Ball is clean from glove to hand and he gets rid of it quickly across the diamond. With the bat, this RHH shows a balanced approach with rhythm in his hands. He connects and extends through finish. Engaging/driving his lower 1/2 will result in increased power. On the mound, Coffey attacks hitters and pounds the zone with strikes. Ball comes out a little deceptive which is a little tough for hitters to pick up. He gets good glove side lead and finishes well with extension on his follow through. Only a 2017 grad - Coffey has skills that will shine over the next few years.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
