07/16/2019 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 1 (Ages 12-14) Adrian continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and has a promising future on the diamond. He did show on the mound for the first time at the event. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. At 3B, he displays clean / smooth actions. Feet are active as he displays proper footwork as he works to square ground balls up, presenting hands as he makes the plays. Range will increase as he continues to improve foot quickness. Throws are accurate, flashing carry but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, hitting / power potential has improved through a tall setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He has strength in his swing and shows a feel for the barrel through a line drive approach. On the mound, fastball showed a range of 65-67 mph. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with gradual break. Getting on a long toss program to develop more arm strength will aid in improving abilities on the mound. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a positive attitude, works hard, and is very coachable.
