12/05/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Windsor (Madison), WI Aidan is an athletic OF/RHP who is a prospect on the diamond. He has the versatility to play all 3 OF spots effectively. At the plate, he shows as a switch hitter with similar abilities from both sides. He stands in with a solid/strong base and has fluid rhythm to load. Barrel delivery is short/quick with aggression (86 mph exit velocity) as he connects with power driving to all parts of the field with gap-to-gap pop. On the mound, delivery is sound/repeatable as he shows good tempo through a strong balance point, allowing his arm action to work quick and free to the plate. Fastball shows a range of 80-83 mph with arm side run. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with late break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup and shows a plus feel for pitch with arm side run. Off speed stuff show as quality pitches that will get outs. Command/control is well above average as he locates well to both sides of the plate. With 2 years to further develop, Aidan has a tremendous upside and will get looks from collegiate coaches as he continues to progress his game.

07/20/2020 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Rosemont (Chicago), IL Aidan is an athletic OF who will graduate in 2023. In the OF, he displays smooth/fluid actions. Feet are active as he works to get behind balls but needs to play through more with momentum to his target. Range is a plus as he moves well laterally and covers ground. Throws are accurate with carry but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he shows a squared setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. With 3 years to further develop, Aidan has potential with time and room to progress his game.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
