08/01/2021 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 (HS) Aidan continues to show as a prospect on the diamond. In the MIF, he displays smooth / athletic actions. Feet are active as he works around balls but needs to play through with momentum to his target. Glove action is soft / sure and presents out front. He moves well laterally and utilizes his foot quickness in covering ground in the MIF. At the plate, he continues to shine through a squared setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Lower half works well through the swing and shows a feel for the barrel. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be.

06/18/2021 - Baseball Factory All-State Tournament (HS) Aidan continues to shine on the diamond. At the plate, hands are quick (83 mph exit velocity) as he squares the ball up consistently driving it on a line. Defensively, he takes a quick first step and has plus lateral range. He creates angles around the GB with fluid actions. DP turns are quick with zip (80 mph velocity) on his throws.

12/19/2020 - Winter Pro Training Experience - Nor Cal (HS - Dec) Aidan is an athletic and talented MIF in the 2023 class who can pick it. He has great feel defensively showing a sure glove with the ability to throw from multiple arm slots. Aidan has + lateral range and a strong arm. He has a clean exchange, and his footwork allows him to create momentum into his throws. At the plate, he starts in a square setup. He coordinates his hands and hips well together. An active load allows him to utilize his lower half, creating consistent contact and spraying the ball to all parts of the field. Aidan is a coachable, hardworking player with a very bright future on the diamond.

12/09/2020 - Official College Recruiting Membership - San Bernardino, CA Aidan is an athletic 2B who has a promising future on the diamond. At 2B, he displays smooth fluid actions. Feet are active and plays through with his body. Glove action is clean and presents well out front. He moves well laterally with range improving as he improves foot quickness. Throws are accurate with carry (80 mph velocity) to his target but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he continues to shine through an athletic setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. With 3 years to further develop, Aidan has potential with time and room to progress his game.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
