Official Scouting Report

  • 4Class Rating
  • RHP/3BPosition Projection

06/21/2024 - College World Series Experience - Session 2 Aiden is a tall 6ft 4/195 RHP/3B in the 2025 class. Scouts described Aiden has a hard worker and team player during his Omaha Experience. In the field, he plays low to the ground for his size and his hands are out in front. He can redirect the ball with clean actions and his arm works at 86 velo and is accurate. On the mound, he fields his position well and likes to mix his pitches. Threw 3 inn of work and attacked bo sides of the plate. He got hit a little in game action, but scouts like his make-up from pitch to pitch. His FB touched 80 and showed run. Once he can command the outer half, his off-speed will become very complimentary. His breaking pitch sat 65-9 with 10-4 shape and gradual spin. Had a good showing at the plate by using the whole field and displaying backside production. Registered several quality at-bats to go along with 2 hits and an RBI. Overall, Aiden has excellent potential and scouts feel he is a next level player.

05/26/2024 - All-In National Showcase - Minneapolis, MN Aidan is an athletic 3B/RHP in the class of 2025. He shows off a good frame with room to continue to fill out. In the field, he does a good job of creating angles and working downhill to the baseball. His hands work with fluidity as he consistently finds the right hop. On the mound, he has long levers and a projectable frame. He delivers all 3 pitches from a low 3/4 arm slot. He does a good job repeating his delivery and gets his chest to his glove. He showed a good fastball that got up to 77mph as well as a breaking ball with good shape. At the plate, he hits from an upright and open stance. Consistently showed the ability to drive the ball into all parts of the field. Showed good balance and an on-plane swing. Aidan is a well-rounded, dual position, high school player that we look forward to seeing continued success.

07/17/2023 - National Showcase - Minneapolis, MN Aiden is a talented 3B/RHP in the 2025 class. Has a great frame at 6ft 4/195 and room to grow. In the field, he plays with great energy and moves with quick actions. He centers his body to the baseball and glove has feel. His exchanges are quick and clean and shows a short and loose arm with accuracy at 86 velo. Scouts describe him raw around the bag, but there is major potential to become a top flight defender. On the mound, he has quiet eyes and excellent extension. His FB sat 76-7 with cutting actions. His CB/SL combo sat 63-4/65-8 with 11-5 action and medium break. His CH was around the zone at 67-9. At the plate, he is a strong hitter. Begins in a powerful base and uses smooth timing to stay in the middle of the field. Path is direct and when he learns how to engage his lower half, he can develop into a big time hitter. Overall, Aidan is a must watch player in the 2025 class.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
