01/15/2021 - 2021 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament (FL) Aidan continues to show as a prospect on the diamond. Behind the dish, he presents a soft/sure mitt showing great pocket awareness sticking pitches. Quick lateral movements allow him to center/deaden pitches in the dirt off of a soft chest. Pop times have improved as he threw his lowest time to date at 2.25. Offensively, he continues to shine through a squared setup. He has athletic/smooth actions with fluid rhythm to load. He gets good hand separation and delivers the barrel with leverage, resulting in a barrel accuracy through a line drive approach.

11/22/2020 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Palmyra (Harrisburg), PA Aidan continues to shine on the diamond. Behind the dish, he presents a soft/sure mitt showing great pocket awareness sticking pitches. He uses his body during the blocking process but needs to create better angles to deaden balls out front. Pop times showed in the 2.18 range with accuracy on his throws. Times will continue to drop as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he shows an athletic setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach.

09/04/2020 - National Evaluation and Tryout - Frederick, MD Aidan continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. Behind the dish, he presents a soft/sure mitt showing great pocket awareness sticking pitches. He uses his body during the blocking process but needs to work to get body down sooner. Pop times have improved as he threw his lowest time to date at 2.15 with accuracy on his throws. Times will continue to drop as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he shows a squared setup. Hands are loose and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently.

01/17/2020 - 2020 Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Aidan is a coachable C/RHP prospect who showed well during the All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament. Behind the plate, Aidan presents a low target and tracks the ball into his glove well. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a soft stride. He is fluid getting his hands activated in his load and remains centered in his lower half. He takes a smooth swing with fast bat speed, leading to solid gap to gap pop. On the mound, Aidan gathers over the rubber and works inline towards the plate. His fastball tops out at 66mph with cutting action. Overall, Aidan is a solid prospect who has the potential to further develop his skills on the field.

09/15/2019 - College PREP - Moosic (Scranton), PA Aidan raised arm strength to 69 MPH and exit velocity to 70 MPH during his last workout with The Factory. He is an athletic catcher with active feet, a presentable glove, and he sits in squarely. He tracks the ball well, his exchange is clean, and he has an accurate arm to 2nd base. Added lateral range and a quicker release can help catching skills get better. At the plate, Aidan has a square set-up, good balance, and a rhythmic swing. He has a short/direct barrel, makes square/consistent contact, and he uses his lower body well. A more still head and work on timing will help hitting continue to improve.

02/09/2019 - Interactive Video Program - Palmyra (Harrisburg), PA Aidan is a thin, 2-way player with long limbs. Behind the plate, Aidan has efficient footwork, athletic actions, and he presents his glove well. He has strong hands, receives well, and gains ground with accuracy to 2nd base. Pop times were as low as 2.37 seconds. At SS, Aidan has soft hands, he takes good angles to the ball, and he fields in a low position. He has a quick/clean transfer and throws with accuracy and direction across the diamond. At the plate, Aidan has a square set-up, a short stride, and he loads well. Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
