10/10/2018 - Arizona Senior Fall Classic Aidan continues to show as a top prospect on the diamond. At the plate is where he continues to show best through an athletic / closed setup. Hands are quick (85 mph exit velocity) and work through a short / direct swing path as he stays inside the ball utilizing all fields. He has strength in his swing with power showing best to the pull side. In the OF, he takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind balls and plays through well with momentum to his target. Hands / feet work well together as he gets rid of the baseball quickly with accuracy and carry on his throws. He reads balls well off the bat, taking proper first step and shows plus range in the OF. On the mound, fastball shows a range of 79-82 mph. Breaking ball displays 10/4 shape with gradual break. Stock on the mound will continue to improve as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a great attitude and is very coachable as he works hard to be the best player he can be.

01/12/2018 - 2018 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Aidan is a strong, athletic two-way player who separates himself defensively. He shows quick, active feet working to the ball and plays through to make strong, accurate throws. Offensively, he shows quick hands and good bat speed (89mph exit velo) on a level path to the ball. He makes consistent contact and has pull side pop with the legs to make him a top of the order type. On the bump, he attacks with a fastball up to 80mph and a slider that has sweeping action. Aidan can make big contributions to the game in a variety of ways.

12/27/2017 - Under Armour Baseball Factory Recruiting Classic (Ages 14-18) Aidan continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and he is a prospect on the diamond. At the plate, hitting / power potential has improved, now showing outstanding hitting tools with tremendous power potential through an athletic setup. Hands are quick (93 exit velocity) and work through a level swing path. He has strength in his swing and shows a feel for the barrel with gap-to-gap pop. At the event, he was 3 for 7 with a 3B. In the OF, he displays smooth / clean actions. Feet are active as he takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind balls and plays through with momentum to his target. Range is a plus as he reads balls well off the bat and covers a lot of ground. On the mound, fastball shows a range of 81-82 mph with tailing action. Breaking ball displays 10/4 shape with gradual break. Stock on the mound will continue to improve as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and plays the game hard.

07/19/2017 - Under Armour Southwest Championships 16U, powered by Baseball Factory's Team One Aidan is a talented OF/RHP prospect who has a strong, athletic build and graduates in 2019. In the outfield, Aidan plays with active footwork and agile actions covering a wide range. He presents his glove and fields the ball athletically. Aidan has a clean exchange leading into a loose arm action throwing from a 3/4 arm slot. He plays with good momentum through the baseball showing consistently strong throws. Offensively, Aidan has a tall, athletic stance with a firm front side and centered balance. He has a good load with smooth rhythm. Aidan shows fast bat speed with an on-plane swing path producing hard, consistent contact. He is a line drive type hitter who can drive the ball to each gap. On the mound, Aidan has a balanced, on-time separation throwing from a 3/4 arm slot with a clean arm action. He extends through his release and stays square to home plate with a controlled landing. Aidan does a nice job rotating with his core towards his target. He commands his fastball with run movement at 75-80 MPH. He also features a medium breaking curveball and developing changeup. Overall, Aidan has a well-rounded game with talented skills giving him a bright future on the diamond.

06/24/2017 - Omaha National World Series - Session 2 (Ages 14-18) Aidan continues to show progress in his baseball abilities with a promising future on the diamond. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date, now a 7.19 runner. On the mound, arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date, topping out at 82 mph. Fastball showed a range of 77-82 mph with arm side run. Breaking ball displays 11/4 shape with gradual break. Control is well above average as he throws strikes with all his pitches. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as more arm strength is gained through a long toss program. In the OF, he takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind balls but needs to play through more with momentum to his target. At the plate, he continues to shine through an athletic setup. Hands are quick (88 mph exit velocity) and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields with gap to gap pop. At the event, he was 4 for 8 with 2 2B. Mental makeup is a plus as he is extremely coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be.

02/25/2017 - College PREP - Sioux Falls, SD Aidan is a long, lean (6'1”, 190lbs) OF/RHP prospect who is slightly more advanced as an outfielder. His eye popping raw power at such a young age is extremely exciting as he shows the ability to hit for extra bases currently with big home run potential as he continues to grow. His hands are strong and quick at the dish, working works on a level path to the ball. He shows impressive bat speed with a strong lower half to finish on a firm front side and spray hard hit balls to all fields. On the hill, this right hander gets good leg drive towards the plate to generate power from his lower half and work into the 80's with his fastball. He stays direct with a clean arm stroke and shows control of both the fastball and curve to wither side of the plate. Working on releasing his curveball from the same slot as the fastball will make the pitch more deceptive and allow it to be an out pitch for him. In the outfield, he shows fluid actions, with a quick first step and efficient angles to the ball. He is athletic to field with agile movements and gets behind the ball to play through with momentum to his target to make strong throws. Aidan is an exciting, young prospect who looks to have a bright future in the game.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
