11/18/2022 - 2022 Baseball Factory Fall Prospects Tournament (HS) Aidan is an OF/RHP prospect who will graduate in 2024. Good frame athletic build and room to add more strength. In the OF, starts with active feet and aggressive routes to ground balls. Square fielding position, with a short arm action, and throws from a high 3/4 arm slot. Accurate/on-line throws, with a quick release, into infield at 79mph. At the plate, he sets up with an open and athletic stance. Short/square stride as he hits into a firm front side and makes good contact. Ability to backspin balls into both gaps with a bat exit velocity of 68 mph. In live game action, Aidan showed competitive at bats. With continued growth and development, we foresee him having the opportunity to play at the next level.

07/14/2020 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Lake Elsinore (Los Angeles), CA Aidan is a RHP prospect who will graduate in 2024. On the mound, Aidan gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a clean arm and extends through his release, staying inline toward the plate. Aidan shows a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 64mph with sinking action. Cutter sits from 59-62mph with good movement. Changeup sits from 54-59mph with cutting action. Driving his lower half more can help Aidan improve as a pitcher. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a tall stance and is smooth getting into his load. He takes a level swing and drives the ball to his pull side. Aidan can improve as a hitter by maintaining center balance throughout his swing. With four more years to develop, Aidan has the time and potential to further progress his skills on the field.

02/16/2020 - Interactive Video Program - Cypress (Los Angeles), CA Aidan is a young, athletic, 2-way player who pitches and plays 2nd base. On the mound, Aidan works in good tempo, he has a clean arm action, and he separates his hands on time. He has good glove side lead, a controlled landing toward home plate, and he finishes in a complete position. At 2B, Aidan has quick/active feet, a good 1st step to the ball, and he fields squarely. He makes plays, shows a quick/clean exchange, and throws with momentum and consistently to 1st base. Offensively, this RHH has a tall/athletic stance, he loads his hands well, and stays balanced throughout his swing. He swings on plane, hits hard to the pull side, and he uses his lower body. Solid skills can get even better with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
