08/29/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Brockton (Boston), MA Aidan continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. At SS, defensive abilities have improved as he displays smooth / athletic actions. Feet are active as he works around balls and plays through with momentum to his target. Glove action is soft and presents well out front. He moves well laterally with range improving as he increases foot quickness. At the plate, hitting / power potential has improved through an open setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. On the mound, arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date with arm side run. Breaking ball displays 10/4 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with sinking action. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program.

01/12/2018 - Baseball Factory Spring Training at Historic Dodgertown Aidan continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. At the plate, he shows an open setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays on plane and makes consistent contact through a line drive approach. Power is best shown to the pull side. At the event, he was 1 for 2 with a 2B and BB. At SS, he displays smooth / clean actions. Hands are clean and present well out front. Feet are aggressive as he attacks balls but will benefit by playing through with his body. He moves well laterally with range improving as he improves quickness. On the mound, fastball shows a range of 49-52 mph with arm side run. He maintains arm speed on his changeup but needs to develop more movement on pitch. Stock on the mound will continue to improve as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be.

11/19/2017 - Interactive Video Program - Marlborough (Boston), MA Aidan is a SS/RHP who will graduate in 2023. Defensively at SS, he takes aggressive cuts and works into a low fielding position on GB's. He has a clean exchange and makes accurate throws to his target. On the mound, this righty gathers over the rubber with a 3-pitch mix. He delivers from a hi 3/4 arm slot with clean arm action and finishes in line towards home plate. With the bat, Aidan shows an athletic setup with smooth rhythm to load. He times pitches well as he swings on-plane through the zone and drives pitches on a line. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.

Defense
1. Field out in front
2. Develop soft hands
3. Arm strength (long toss)
Pitching
1. Keep eyes on target
2. Lower 1/2 drive off rubber
3. Deliver more strikes
Offense
1. Improve bat speed
2. Lower 1/2 drive
3. More level swing path

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
