01/19/2024 - 2024 Baseball Factory Rookie Pre-Season All-America Tournament Aiden is a 2027 LHP/OF prospect that recently impressed at the Rookie Pre-Season All-American Tournament. In the OF, he shows off active footwork to the baseball and agile range to all angles. He does a great job of working behind the baseball and getting in an athletic fielding position and fielding the ball out in front. He has a quick, clean exchange and a loose arm action that fits the position and he makes accurate throws to his targets. At the plate, he starts in a squared, athletic stance and has comfortable hands. He has an activated load and gets a squared stride to the pitcher. He has good rhythm in the box and a great lower half that works through the baseball. He has an on-plane swing and he does a great job of staying coordinated with his hips and his hands through contact. He reached base in 4 of 7 plate appearances in game action with a single and three walks and also stole a base. On the mound, Aiden shows off 3 plus pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot. He has a good presence and excellent poise and he works with good tempo. He gathers his balance over the rubber and has a relaxed knee lift while getting on-time separation. His arm action is clean and he has a full finish out front. He shows some run with his FB and ran the pitch up to 77. His CB is a very impressive pitch, showing off sharp break and a ton of command. His CH has some run and sink and he does a great job of throwing the pitch with FB arm speed. He struck out 5 in 3 innings of game action and did not allow a hit. Aiden is a very impressive prospect that we are excited to see more of as he continues to develop!

01/13/2023 - 2023 Baseball Factory Rookie Pre-Season All-America Tournament Aiden is a 2027 LHP/OF who showcased his skills during the BF Rookie PSAA Tournament. In the OF, he showed good range and has good instincts. He worked to center the baseball and works with good direction through the baseball. He fields from a low fielding position and has a clean funnel off of his right foot. He made accurate throws from a high 3/4 arm slot into the infield, with good carry, and arm velocity up to 72mph. At the plate, he hits from an athletic and open stance. Made contact to the pull side with a bat exit velocity up to 66mph during BP. A left-handed pitcher, he works with good tempo and stays balanced throughout his delivery. He attacks hitters with a FB that topped out at 68mph with some movement, and a 1/7 shaped breaking ball with tight spin. We look forward to seeing what the future holds for Aiden as he enters his 8th grade school year.

11/20/2022 - National Evaluation and Tryout - Daytona Beach, FL Aiden is an OF/LHP prospect who will graduate in 2027. In the OF, Aiden makes good reads and shows fluid footwork. He gets into an athletic position and fields with a firm glove. His exchange is clean and he gains ground well on his throws, keeping them accurate/on-line to his target. At the plate, this LHH sets up in an open stance with center balance. He is smooth to load and drives through well with his lower half. He works through a short swing with fast bat speed, producing strong line drives. Aiden can create more consistent contact by taking a square stride toward the pitcher. On the mound, Aiden gathers over the rubber and works with a clean arm. He stays inline toward the plate and finishes square to his target. Aiden operates with a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 67mph. Breaking ball sits at 55mph with 1-7 break. Changeup sits from 59-60mph with arm side run as he throws with deceptive arm speed. Long tossing can help Aiden build up his arm strength on the mound and in the field. Overall, Aiden is a solid prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
