01/18/2019 - 2019 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Aidan is an athletic 2019 two-way player. At SS, he excels defensively with quick and clean hands, a very strong arm and plus range. His good first step allows him to make range plays. Can make all plays on the diamond due to his ability to mix arm slots and deliver crisp accurate throws. On the mound, he works with good presence and has a solid feel for Pitching. With his loose/clean arm action he mixes in 3 pitches, a Fastball ranging from 80-82mph, a Curveball (68-76mph), and a Changeup (76mph) that can keep hitters off balance. At the plate, Aidan is loose and comfortable and creates nice rhythm to get to the baseball directly with a compact swing. Makes consistent hard line drive contact. Lookout for a nice career at the collegiate level.

10/10/2018 - Arizona Senior Fall Classic Aiden is a thin and athletic 2019 2-way prospect that worked hard and made adjustments day to day. At SS, Aidan is on time with his prep step, anticipates the ball off the bat, and creates angles to the ball. He fields the ball in front of his body and makes accurate throws from multiple arm angles. At the plate, He starts in a tall stance, loads his hands back into the drive position, and creates backside rotation with his lower half. He attacks the inside part of the ball and creates pull side lift. On the bump, Aiden gathers over the rubber, separates on time, and stays squared toward his target.

07/17/2018 - College PREP - Dallas, TX Aiden continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and is a prospect on the diamond. At the plate is where he has improved the most, now displaying outstanding hitting abilities with tremendous power potential through an athletic setup. Hands are quick (87mph exit velocity) and work to and through a level swing path. He works to stay inside the ball, utilizing all fields with gap-to-gap pop. In the MIF, he displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are active in attacking ground balls and plays through with his body. Glove action is soft / sure and he presents well out front. He shows off his athletic abilities on his feeds / turn of the double play. Hands / feet work well together through the fielding process and he gets rid of the baseball quickly with accuracy / zip (86 mph velocity) across the diamond. In the OF, feet are aggressive as he takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind balls and plays through well with momentum to his target. Glove action is soft and he presents well, utilizing two hands through the process. Range is a plus as he moves well laterally and covers a lot of ground. Aiden will catch the eyes of the collegiate coaches with his baseball abilities and is a sure player to follow.

12/27/2017 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City - Session 2 (Ages 14-18) Aiden continues to show a promising future on the diamond. At SS, he displays smooth / clean actions. Feet are active / aggressive as he attacks balls and plays through with his body. Hands are soft / sure and presents out front. Range is a plus as he moves well laterally and covers a lot of ground. Hands / feet work well together as he gets rid of the baseball quickly with life, accuracy, and on line carry across the diamond. At the plate he shows a squared setup. Hands are quick (83 mph exit velocity) and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields with gap-to-gap pop. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and plays the game hard.

11/05/2017 - College PREP - Plano (DFW), TX Aiden is a lean, athletic prospect with positional versatility and feel or the game that makes him a very exciting player. He has a cannon in the outfield and can cut down runners trying to take extra bases with strong, accurate throws. He plays through fly balls to gain momentum to throw to his target. His angles are efficient in the outfield, which along with his speed gives him a lot of range. He shows impressive body control at short to move laterally with a quick first step and get to anything hit his way. His hands are clean and quick to field and make strong, accurate throws and feeds. At the dish, he works the middle of the field, keeping his hands inside of the ball to stay on any pitch and use all fields. He has a strong bat angle and fast bat speed on a level path through the zone to make hit laser line drives to all fields. Aiden is a very exciting prospect for the next level.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "present" abilities (tools), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year, using the scale below. However, grades 10-18 are not available for use with High School players (ages 14-18), while grades 55-70 are not available for use with Pre High School players (ages 12-14). These instances are marked as "--- N/A ---" in the "Description" fields below.
