06/23/2021 - Official Player Development Membership - Wilmington, DE Aiden continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and has a promising future on the diamond. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. In the OF, defensive abilities have improved as he displays smooth / fluid actions. He takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. Feet are active but needs to work to get behind balls more to play through with momentum to his target. At 2B, feet are active as he works to square balls up. Glove action is clean but needs to present more out front. Throws are accurate but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, hitting / power potential has improved through a squared setup. Hands are loose and work through a level swing path. He makes consistent contact through a line drive approach with power showing best to he pull side. Hitting grade will continue to improve as he works to get stride foot down sooner to work on time.

03/07/2021 - All-In Membership - Bowie, MD Aiden is a 2026 OF/2B. Young player, medium frame athletic build with square shoulders, has room to grow and fill throughout moving forward. Primary outfielder fields the ball out front and approaches the ball well. Accurate throws with long arm action through the back into a high 3/4 arm slot. Can incorporate additional lower half into release and arm strength will continue to develop. Secondary 2B moves well to the ball and fields the ball out front. Low funnel and clean exchange with an over the top arm slot. At present arm strength fits this position but needs to continue to improve. Right-handed hitter begins with an athletic stance and short stride. Longer swing plane who sprayed ball to all fields. Needs to work on using lower half more and extending bat out front. Aiden needs to focus on developing and improving his skillsets. Some of his development will come naturally, but he will need quality repetitions to take his game to the next level.

10/17/2020 - Mid-Atlantic Regional Offensive Skills Weekend (Ages 12-14) At the Offensive Skills Weekend, Aidan continued to improve his athletic prowess showcasing improved 5-10-5 shuttle times, broad and lateral jumps. Really getting a feel for how his lower half works and translates at the plate. Sets up wide and in his lower half to begin with, needs to create a little more rhythm to get his hips through more effectively but his swing path is direct, simple and results in line drives. Rotates his core through the swing very well and keeps showing his ability to make hard contact and put the ball in play.

03/08/2020 - Interactive Video Program - Bel Air (Baltimore), MD Aiden is a young (2026 grad) 2-way player as an OF/2B. Defensively in the OF, he hustles to his right and left to track down fly-balls and work into position behind the ball. He secures it with 2-hands, and makes accurate throws into his cutoff. At 2B, he has efficient footwork as he moves into a square fielding position behind the GB. He gathers well and has a clean exchange to throw. With the bat, this righty displays an athletic / slightly close setup. He tracks pitches into the zone and off of his barrel and he looks to drive the ball back up the middle of the field. Continuing to work on the following will aid in his overall development on the diamond.

Outfield
1. 1st step quickness
2. Routes / Angles
3. Arm strength (long toss)
Infield
1. Fielding position
2. Glove presentation
3. Play through the ball
Hitting

2. Balance
3. Swing path

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
