07/21/2019 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 (Ages 12-14) Aiden is an athletic SS/RHP. Aiden shows effective footwork on the infield with relaxed actions. He fields the ball square with his hands presented out front. His exchanges are quick and clean as he works to throw with a short arm action and accurate throws. Agility work will improve Aiden's footwork in the infield. Hitting, Aiden shows an athletic stance with a square stride and he gets his foot down on time as he fires his lower half through. He gets his swing on plane with fast bat speed making hard contact with a line-drive approach. On the mound, Aiden has a 2-pitch mix with a FB/CB. The FB shows some tail and the CB has good depth with an 11-5 break. He works downhill towards his target with a clean arm action and keeps his upper body in line with the plate. Aiden will continue to develop and grow and we look forward to seeing what the future holds.

06/03/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Jackson, MS Aiden is an athletic, 2-way player with good skills. At SS, Aiden has active feet, presentable hands, and he fields in a square position. He is light on his feet, plays through the ball properly, and throws with a quick/clean exchange with accuracy and direction toward his target. On the mound, Aiden has a clean arm action, on-time separation, and he lands in a square position. He has good off-speed pitches and competes in the zone. Offensively, Aiden has a tall/square set-up, he loads well, and stays on top of the baseball. He swings in good rhythm, has a direct barrel to the ball, and hits hard to the pull side. Aiden can improve skills with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
