08/06/2012 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 AJ is a tall, projectable, 2-way player who plays SS and RHP. Defensively, AJ has sound mechanics, he takes good angles to the ball, and he tries to field out in front. He has an easy arm action, and throws with accuracy across the diamond. Quicker feet and added arm strength can help spike abilities at SS. On the mound, AJ has a compact delivery, level shoulders, and he works in good tempo. More glove side lead and better extension can help mound effectiveness improve. At the plate, AJ has an aggressive swing, he tracks the ball well, and he makes consistent contact. He will need to level off his swing, throw his hands more directly to the ball, and use more lower 1/2 in order to improve hitting grades.
