12/17/2017 - Interactive Video Program - Thousand Oaks, CA Alan is an athletic, 2-way player who pitches and plays OF. On the mound, Alan has a loose/quick arm action, he stands over the rubber well, and gets good extension on his pitches. He separates on-time, his CB shows nice spin/bite, and he finishes out over his front knee. In the OF, Alan has active feet to the ball, he tracks it well, and works behind properly. He has soft hands, a clean exchange, and throws with a quick arm action to his target. At the plate, Alan has a balanced set-up, he swings in good rhythm, and he has fast bat speed. He has a line drive approach and makes hard contact. Alan can improve overall abilities with work on the following

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
