01/18/2019 - 2019 Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Alejandro is a strong 1B/RHP prospect who showcased his skills at the All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament. In the field, Alejandro gets into position on time and fields the ball out in front of his body with soft hands. He throws with a loose arm and keeps his throws accurate with carry through his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an open stance with loose hands. He is controlled getting his hands activated and takes a compact swing. He produces fast bat speed through the zone, leading to loud contact and solid pop. On the mound, Alejandro starts with a simple rock step and separates his hands on time. He works with a clean arm and stays inline towards the plate, finishing square to his target. Alejandro shows a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 72mph. Breaking ball sits from 63-65mph with 11-5 break. With three more years to develop, Alejandro has the time and potential to further progress his skills on the field.
