07/30/2014 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 1 Miller improved his foot speed as he ran his best 60 time to date, now a 7.65 runner. He utilizes his feet well in his lateral movements, flashing range. Hands / feet work well together and he attacks ground balls, playing through with body. Defensive grade will continue to improve as he continues to work to increase foot quickness. Throws are accurate but will benefit by continuing to build more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he shows a balanced setup and good eye / hand coordination. Hands are loose and work through a level / aggressive swing path as he makes consistent contact. Power numbers will continue to improve as he learns to use his lower body and adds overall body strength. At the event, he was 3 for 9. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be.
