01/18/2013 - 2013 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Robles is an athletic RHP with a balanced delivery and loose arm. He topped at 91 with his fastball, and showed ability to move it in and out well. He added and subtracted with the FB well also, ranging from the low 80s to the low 90s. Upper 70s breaking ball had depth to action, and was thrown with good feel - he used it for both first pitch strikes and outs. Upper 70s change appeared to be his third pitch, he didn't throw it with the same feel as FB and CB, but it was thrown with FB arm speed and it had some sink action. He has three quality pitches, and demonstrated a feel for at least two of them in this outing. His arm worked well from the glove, without restriction, and it worked out front with ease and speed. He maintained good balance throughout his delivery, and broke his hands on time to give his arm ample chance to work. Direction was solid, and landing was soft, allowing him to finish completely and extend out front well. Overall, an impressive combination of mechanics, stuff and feel for pitching.
