11/18/2022 - 2022 Baseball Factory Fall Prospects Tournament (HS) Alexander is a 2026 3B/RHP who showcased his skills during the Fall Prospects Tournament. At 3B, he tries to create good fielding angles and gets down on-time with soft hands out front. Throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with an arm velocity up to 73mph. On the mound, he gathers over the rubber, with a clean leg lift, and works down the mound. He throws from a 3/4 arm slot and has a controlled landing. A 2-pitch pitcher who pitches to contact with a FB topping out at 61mph, and a 10/4 shaped breaking ball. At the plate, he sets up in an upright and even stance. Showed ability to get on-plane early and rotates his core. Hit line drives to all fields during his round of BP with a bat exit velocity up to 77mph. At the event, he showed ability to work counts and drew 3 base on balls. Overall, Alexander is a good player who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

12/27/2021 - Baseball Factory West Coast Winter Classic Alexander is a 3B/RHP in the class of 2026. This young player is only scratching the surface of his potential. Defensively, Alexander presents his glove out in front and stays low to the ground. His feet are in sync with his throwing motion and has great carry on his throws (61 velo). On the mound he has a 3 pitch mix out of the stretch. His fastball topped out at 57, CB at 53 and change 51. He has solid poise and competes. His relaxed knee lift allows him to balance properly and be effective in the strike zone. At the plate, he can spray the ball to all fields. He starts with a slightly closed stance and puts his body into a good load in the trigger phase. As he develops strength, Alexander will become a solid two way player

08/22/2021 - All-In Membership - Thousand Oaks, CA Alexander is a SS/RHP who will graduate in 2026. A young/developing player who has plenty of time/room to add strength. In the field, he shows efficient footwork and moves well laterally. He fields from a square fielding position and fields the ball out in front with a low funnel. Showed good feet to his backhand side and tries to keep his eyes behind his glove. He throws from a 3/4 angle and his throws are on-line with an arm velocity up to 62mph across diamond. At the plate, he hits from an upright and even stance. Quiet head and level eyes enable him to track pitches well. Gets good separation and hits into a firm front side. He sprayed balls to all fields with a bat exit velocity up to 71mph during BP. On the mound, he gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time with good extension out front. He throws from a high 3/4 arm slot and stays inline toward the plate. A 3 pitch pitcher who was around the zone with all of his pitches. He throws a FB that sat 57-59mph with sinking action, an 11/5 shaped breaking ball, and a changeup he throws with FB arm speed and some sinking action. With 5 more years of growth and development, Alexander has the time and potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
