01/17/2022 - All-In Membership - Beverly Hills (Detroit), MI Alexander is a C prospect who will graduate in 2025. Medium frame athletic build with strength present and is well-proportioned. At C, he plays with good effort and presents a low target. Good lateral movement, with good blocking angles, and centers the baseball. Works thumb under, with a clean exchange, into a high 3/4 release point with consistent throws to second base. Arm velocity was up to 76mph and his best pop time was 2.34 seconds. A right-handed hitter, he hits from an upright and open stance. Quiet head and level eyes enable him to track pitches well. Takes a short/square glide step and has a middle of the field approach. Made contact to all fields with a bat exit velocity up to 77mph. With 3 years of continued growth and development, we see Alexander making huge strides on the baseball field.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
