02/06/2022 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Pensacola, FL Alexander worked out in the OF and at 3B during his last workout with The Factory. He is a talented 2-way player with a high ceiling. In the OF, Alexander has fluid/active feet, agile range, and he fields athletically. He moves smoothly, makes plays consistently, and throws with accuracy and carry to his cut off man. At 3B, Alexander has athletic actions, agile range, and quick feet. He takes good angles to the ball, he fields smoothly, and throws with momentum from a quick release to his target. Offensively, Alexander is slightly a better hitter from the left side. He has an aggressive swing, plus bat speed, and he works the ball gap to gap well. From the right side, Alexander has good barrel accuracy, he works the middle of the field, and he has solid pop in his bat.

12/10/2021 - Baseball Factory Academic All-American Tournament Alexander is a 2024 prospect out of Mobile, AL who continues to show as a prospect on the diamond with improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date, now a 6.84 runner. At 3B, defensive abilities are solid as he displays smooth/fluid actions. Feet are active as he plays through with his body and he attacks balls. Glove action is clean and presents well out front. He moves well laterally and utilizes his foot quickness in covering a lot of ground. Throws are accurate with carry (88 mph velocity) across the diamond. At the plate, he continues to shine, displaying as a switch hitter with solid abilities from both sides. Hands are quick (87 mph exit velocity) and work through a level swing path. He has strength in his swing and stays inside the ball with gap to gap pop. Lower half works well through the swing and he shows a feel for the barrel. At the event, he was 2 for 3 with a 3B and 3 BB.

05/16/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Mobile, AL Alexander continues to show improvements in all his baseball abilities and has a promising future on the diamond. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date, now a 7.07 runner. At the plate, he continues to show as a switch hitter, now displaying outstanding hitting/power potential from the left side. Hands are quick (90 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields with gap to gap pop. Lower half works well through the swing and he shows a feel for the barrel. At 3B, defensive abilities are now outstanding as he displays smooth/athletic actions. Feet are active as he works around balls and plays through with his body. Glove action is clean and presents well out front. He moves well laterally and covers a lot of ground in the infield. Hands/feet work well together as he gets rid of the baseball quickly with accuracy/carry (89 mph velocity) across the diamond. On the mound, arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date at 80 mph. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with late break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with slight arm side run. Control is solid as he throws strikes with all his pitches. With 3 years to further develop, Alexander has the makings of a special type player with time and room to progress his game.

12/06/2020 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Pensacola, FL Alexander continues to show as a prospect on the diamond. At the plate, he continues to show as a switch hitter with similar abilities from both sides. Hands are quick (84 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. At 3B, he displays smooth/athletic actions. Feet are active as he works around balls and plays through with his body. Glove action is clean and presents well out front. On the mound, fastball ranges from 74-78 mph. Breaking ball shows 10/4 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with sink.

08/30/2020 - All-In Membership - Pensacola, FL Bennett continues to shine on the diamond. Defensively at 3B, he shows active prep and is aggressive to come and get the GB. Hands are presented out in front as he funnels smoothly to a quick/clean transfer. Throws are accurate with carry (87 mph). Offensively, this switch hitter shows well from both sides. He takes an aggressive swing with quick hands whipping the barrel with + bat speed. He squares the ball up consistently and sprays line-drives. On the mound, this RHP has an effective 3-pitch mix in which he pounds the zone with strikes. Mechanics are sound as he repeats well. He keeps the ball down in the zone and will get GB outs. FB ranges from 77-78 mph. Slider shows 10/4 shape - 65-66 mph. Changeup has slight tail and complements his FB well. Alexander is a very talented 2-way prospect who is one to keep an eye on - only a 2024 grad.

01/17/2020 - 2020 Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Alexander is athletic 3B/RHP. Smooth defensively, he is very athletic, showcased solid range and fielded the ball cleanly with a nice quick exchange. At the plate, he is above average from both sides of the plate, adding solid value to his offensive game. Very loose and engaged, he attacks the ball with intent and produces line drives consistently. He keeps it simple on the mound, as this RHP attacks hitters with a good FB (78mph) to set up his best pitch, a very polished and advanced CB (63-64mph) with tight spin and great depth as it breaks. A big time out pitch for sure. Alexander is very motivating to teammates and really enjoys competing on the diamond.

08/25/2019 - Interactive Video Program - Pensacola, FL Alexander is a solid, 2-way player who can switch hit. At 3B, Alexander has quick feet, agile movements, and his hands are soft. He makes plays, takes good angles to the ball, and he throws with accuracy and momentum to his target. On the mound, Alexander has good balance, he separates his hands on time, and he works in good tempo. He gets solid extension on his pitches and throws strikes. At the plate, Alexander is equally as good from both sides of the plate. From the left, he has an aggressive swing, a short/square stride, and fast bat speed. From the right, Alexander has plus actions, great barrel accuracy, and he makes hard/level contact. Alexander can get even better with work on the following.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
