Alexander is an athletic built shortstop prospect who graduates in 2019. In the field, Alexander plays with active footwork and moves well in each direction laterally. He presents his glove and fields the ball in a low position. Alexander has a clean exchange leading into a long, loose arm action throwing from a high 3/4 arm slot. He plays with good momentum through the ball showing consistently online throws. He has an aggressive approach and shows a smooth backhand. As a right-handed hitter, Alexander has a tall, square stance with his weight on his heels. He has an aggressive approach and looks to swing the bat. He has a short, square stride with a choppy load. Alexander has a long swing path and is developing bat speed. He can drive the ball to the pull side and gets good backspin. Overall, Alexander has a well-rounded game and can get even better with development.

Alexander continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. At the plate, hitting / power potential has improved through an athletic setup with rhythm. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He works to stay inside the ball, utilizing all fields. Power will increase as he works to utilize his lower half more efficiently. In the OF, defensive abilities have improved, displaying smooth / fluid action. He is aggressive and takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. Increasing foot speed will aid in improving range. At 2B, feet are active as he works to square balls up. Hands are clean but will benefit by presenting more out front.

Alexander is a young OF/2B that will graduate in 2019. In the OF, feet are active as he takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls through an aggressive approach. Defensive grade will continue to improve as he works to get behind balls, play through with momentum to his target, and improve foot quickness. In the IF, feet are active as he works to square balls up, displaying clean hands and proper footwork. He communicates well and plays with high energy. Defensive grade will continue to improve as he attacks balls more and plays through while presenting hands more out front. Throws are accurate but needs to build more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he shows an athletic / squared setup and he tracks the ball well. Hands are aggressive and work through a level swing path. He makes consistent contact, mainly to the pull side. Hitting grade will continue to improve as he works to keep hands inside the ball, utilizing all fields. Power numbers will increase has works to utilize his lower half more aggressively. With 4 years to further develop, Alexander has abilities with time and room to continue to improve.
