Foot speed is above average as indicated by his 7.19 60 time. He utilizes his quick, athletic feet well in working around while playing through ground balls with his body. Hands are playable with defensive grades improving as he presents glove more down and out front. Throws are accurate but he will benefit by getting on a long toss program to build more arm strength and carry. Offensively, Andres shows a balanced squared stance and makes consistent contact but has some mechanical flaws that are hindering him from reaching his full potential with grades improving quickly with instruction and adjustments. Alika has abilities with a lot of room to improve.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.
Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
