05/12/2019 - Interactive Video Program - Tampa, FL Alton is a young, 2-way player who catches and plays SS. Behind the plate, Alton has quiet actions, he tracks well, and works around the ball. He tries hard to block, his exchange is clean, and he throws with a long arm action with pop times as low as 3.25 seconds to 2nd base. At SS, Alton has playable hands and feet, and he makes the routine plays on balls hit his way. He shows a clean release and can throws from multiple arm slots with accuracy across the diamond. Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
